2024 11th International Conference on Education and Psychological Sciences (ICEPS 2024)

The 11th edition of the International Conference on Education and Psychological Sciences (ICEPS 2024) was held at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa in Phuket, Thailand. This prestigious conference brought together global leaders and researchers in the fields of education and psychology to discuss contemporary issues, share knowledge, and explore new research trends.

 

Opening and Welcome Remarks
The conference began with Prof. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham from Silpakorn University, Thailand, delivering the opening remarks, setting the tone for the three-day event. Assoc. Prof. Hiroko Kanoh from Yamagata University, Japan, then provided the welcoming remarks, warmly greeting attendees from around the world and emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing educational challenges.

 

Keynote Speakers

The conference featured an outstanding lineup of keynote speakers, each bringing a unique perspective on critical topics in education and psychology:

  • Prof. Bruce Marlowe from the University of South Carolina Beaufort, USA, delivered a thought-provoking keynote on the topic "What’s Wrong with Our Schools?" He examined the pressing issues within the education system and proposed innovative solutions for improvement.

  • Prof. Hywel Evans from Otsuma Women’s University, Japan, explored "Linguistic Theory and Practical Activities," bridging the gap between theoretical linguistics and its practical applications in education.

  • Prof. Meihua Liu from Tsinghua University, China, presented her research on "Research on L2 Learning Emotions," delving into the emotional aspects of second language acquisition and its implications for learners and educators alike.

Invited Speakers

In addition to the keynote speakers, a select group of invited speakers shared their expertise on various educational and psychological topics:

  • Assoc. Prof. Chi Sheh from the University of the West (UWest), USA, contributed valuable insights into education research.

  • Assoc. Prof. Nattama Pongpairoj from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, shared her extensive knowledge in the field of education and psychological sciences.

  • Assoc. Prof. Mimi Fitriana from the International University of Malaya-Wales, Malaysia, brought a unique perspective on global educational practices.

  • Assoc. Prof. Junkai Li from Tianjin University, China, provided an in-depth analysis of contemporary educational strategies.

After invited session, there were 4  technical sessions and 1 online session. The topics were related to Educational Research and Psychology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Linguistics and Language Teaching. Accepted and registered papers will be published into the upcoming issues of International Journal of Information and Education Technology (IJIET) and available at: http://www.ijiet.org/list-6-1.html, which will be indexed by Scopus (Since 2019), INSPEC (IET), UGC-CARE List (India), CNKI, EBSCO, Electronic Journals Library, Google Scholar, Crossref, etc. And International Journal of Social Science and Humanity (IJSSH) and available at: http://www.ijssh.net/list-6-1.html, which will be indexed by Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, Crossref, Electronic Journals Library.
